Among the strongest RPL fits — driven by how fast you gather evidence
Course overview
A great many Australians manage people, budgets and risk every day without a single qualification confirming it. That works until the moment it does not — a promotion round, a tender requiring evidenced capability, a migration application, or a new owner who wants credentials on file.
The Diploma of Leadership and Management is built for those people. It covers leading and developing teams, managing operational plans, financial literacy for managers, business risk, continuous improvement, and managing performance conversations properly rather than avoiding them. The content is deliberately transferable — it applies as readily to a construction firm as to a childcare service or a warehouse.
This is one of the strongest RPL qualifications available, precisely because working managers generate evidence constantly: plans, budgets, reports, meeting records, performance documentation. If you have been leading a team for several years, the assessment is largely a matter of organising what you already have.

Is this you?
Working supervisors and managers without a formal qualification, business owners formalising their capability, and people preparing for promotion, tenders or migration requirements.
Not sure you fit? Ring anyway. The most common thing Mahmoud hears is “I probably do not qualify” from someone who does. The session costs nothing and the answer is honest either way.
The CME Pathway Method
We map your work history and existing tickets against the qualification you need.
A straight answer on which pathway fits — RPL, gap training or full course.
We place you with the partner RTO best suited to your evidence and situation.
We stay with you through the paperwork until the certificate is in your hand.
Questions we get asked
If you genuinely manage a team, often a substantial proportion. This is one of the best RPL fits we handle because management work leaves a paper trail: operational plans, budgets, rosters, performance reviews you have conducted, meeting minutes, improvement projects. Redact commercially sensitive material and bring the rest.
Not usually, if you have real management experience. RTOs assess entry on experience as well as prior study. If you are aiming at leadership without having led anything yet, the Diploma is the wrong starting point and we will say so.
It can form part of a skills assessment or points claim depending on the visa and occupation, but migration outcomes are decided by the Department of Home Affairs and the relevant assessing authority, not by an RTO. Get migration advice from a registered migration agent — we will not pretend to give it.
With well-organised evidence, considerably less than studying it outright. The genuine bottleneck is almost always how quickly you produce your documentation, not how quickly the assessor works. Clients who set aside a weekend to gather everything move fastest.
Yes — that is the point of it. The units are written to be industry-agnostic, which is why it appears on job ads in construction, health, retail, logistics and community services alike.
Important. Certification Made Easy is not a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). We operate solely as a consulting agency, providing advisory and referral services to our clients through our trusted RTO partners.
Course codes, units and any licensing requirements are set by the training package and the relevant regulator, and change over time. Confirm current details with your RTO and, where a licence is involved, with the regulator in your state.
