Full disclosure

Our partner Registered Training Organisations

We are not an RTO and we never claim to be. Every qualification our clients receive is delivered, assessed and issued by a Registered Training Organisation — and you are told which one, and why, before you commit to anything.

Important: Certification Made Easy is not a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). We operate solely as a consulting agency, providing advisory and referral services to our clients through our trusted RTO partners.

The division of responsibility

Who does what, precisely

The most common misunderstanding about consultancies like ours is what we are actually permitted to do. Here is the line, drawn plainly.

Certification Made Easy

What we do

  • Work out which qualification maps to the job or licence you want
  • Give an honest read on whether RPL, gap training or full study fits your evidence
  • Help you assemble your evidence portfolio before it reaches an assessor
  • Refer and place you with the partner RTO best suited to your situation
  • Follow up, chase paperwork and stay with you until the certificate issues

What we are An independent Australian consultancy and referral agency. Not a training provider.

The partner RTO

Their role

  • Enrol you and hold your training record against your USI
  • Appoint a qualified assessor to your application
  • Judge your evidence against the units of competency
  • Deliver any training or gap training you need
  • Issue the nationally recognised certificate and record of results

What they are Registered with and audited by ASQA, the national VET regulator, against the Standards for RTOs.

The regulator

What neither of us can do

  • Issue a trade or contractor licence
  • Waive an experience requirement
  • Guarantee a licensing outcome
  • Override a probity, police or clearance check

Who they are NSW Fair Trading, the NSW Police Force, the Australian Refrigeration Council and their interstate equivalents — each against its own published requirements.

Trusted RTO Connections

Matched to the right provider, not the nearest one

We hold working relationships with a number of Registered Training Organisations across trades, care, business and technology. RTOs are not interchangeable — they differ in delivery mode, assessor availability, campus location, intake timing and what sits on their scope of registration. Matching you to the right one is most of the job.

You are always told which provider, and why. At your free pathway session we name the specific RTO we intend to refer you to and explain the reasoning — before you pay anyone anything. You are never enrolled with a provider you have not been told about.

And you can check them yourself. Once you have the provider's name or national code, look it up on training.gov.au — the Australian Government's register — and confirm three things: that the registration is current, that the qualification you want is on that provider's scope of registration, and that the registration period covers the dates you will be studying. If a qualification is not on an RTO's scope, that RTO cannot issue it.

How a referral actually works

After your free pathway session we recommend a specific partner RTO and tell you why that one — delivery mode, assessor availability, campus location, intake timing, funding approvals and how well they handle people who work full time. You are told the provider's name and code before you enrol, not after.

Your enrolment is with the RTO, not with us. You sign their enrolment agreement, you are covered by their student policies, their complaints and appeals process and their refund terms, and your certificate is issued in their name against your Unique Student Identifier. Our own fees for advisory and support work are separate, quoted up front, and set out in our Terms of Service and Cancellation & Refund Policy.

If something goes wrong

Raise it with us first, because chasing things is a large part of what you are paying us for. But you also have a route that does not depend on us at all: every RTO must operate a documented complaints and appeals process, and if a matter is not resolved there you can escalate it to ASQA, the Australian Skills Quality Authority, or to the NSW Department of Education for Smart and Skilled matters. We will point you to those channels rather than stand in front of them.
