Certificate II in Sales & Attitudinal Training
Commission and bonuses drive the upper end well beyond base salary.
A short qualification with a fast return
Course overview
About this qualification
Sales is one of the last well-paid careers in Australia still genuinely open to people without formal qualifications — which is exactly why holding one separates you from everyone else applying.
This programme pairs technical selling skill with the part most sales training ignores: attitude. Prospecting, qualifying, handling objections and closing are teachable mechanics. What determines whether someone is still in the role in twelve months is mindset — how they handle rejection, whether they set and track their own goals, and whether they turn up consistently when the week has gone badly. Both halves are covered here deliberately.
It is a short, accessible qualification and it suits people at the start of their working life, people returning to work who need confidence as much as technique, and anyone moving from a service role into one where their income is tied to performance. The earning ceiling is unusually high because commission does not respect your starting point.

Is this you?
Who this course suits
School leavers and first-time workers, people returning to the workforce who need confidence as much as technique, and service workers moving into performance-based income.
Not sure you fit? Ring anyway. The most common thing Mahmoud hears is “I probably do not qualify” from someone who does. The session costs nothing and the answer is honest either way.

Questions we get asked
Frequently asked questions
Necessary, no — sales hires on results. Useful, absolutely. It gets a first-time applicant taken seriously without a track record, and the structured technique means you start producing sooner rather than learning by failing for six months.
Because attitude is what determines who survives the role. Technique can be taught in a week; resilience after a bad month is what actually separates people. Most sales training skips it, and most sales attrition traces straight back to it.
Base salaries commonly sit in the $55,000–$70,000 range, but commission and bonuses are where the real variance lives — strong performers in the right industry earn well beyond $100,000. Your product, industry and commission structure matter more than your qualification once you are in.
Genuinely, yes — some of the best salespeople are quiet listeners rather than extroverts. The communication and mindset content is built for exactly that. Selling well is mostly asking good questions and listening to the answers.
